THE LOCATION
Bella Luna Garden Restaurant & European Deli is set in a historic and original 1910 timber building on Scarborough Street in the heart of Southport. The restaurant has been a Southport landmark for over 20 years
Our classic heritage reception venue is unique with its romantic charm,
intimate yet warm family style ambience set in a cosy all weather garden courtyard.
Centrally located in Scarborough Street at the northern end of Southport the restaurant is easily accessible from the M1 highway - Smith Street exit or from theGold Coast Highway. There is plenty of ample street parking around the restaurant.
THE VENUE
The original building is full of charm and character and its heritage is reflected in the polished timber floors,
panelled walls and lead light doors that grace the entrance. Through the lounge bar to the rear of the building is the garden courtyard
which creates a relaxed atmosphere that encourages your family and friends to mingle freely and enjoy the occasion.
 
THE GARDEN
The garden courtyard is completely covered with a high arched roof and stained timber decking and is fully waterproof. The garden courtyard has been designed to take full advantage of our beautiful Queensland climate. During the warmer months the side walls are opened to catch the gentle cooling breezes from the broadwater and fans keep your guests cool. In the colder months gas heaters are lit to provide a warm and cosy atmosphere.
As dusk settles the mood becomes more romantic, with soft lighting, fairy lights and cool evening breezes to envelope your guests.
The garden comfortably caters for up to 100 guests depending on the type of function chosen.
THE FOOD
You and your guests will enjoy a delicious menu “prepared on the day in our own kitchen”. We pride ourselves on the fact that we make our own stocks and sauces thus ensuring all our dishes reflect their true tastes and flavours.
Our Chef will cater for any special dietary requirements that you or your guests may have, we do however ask for prior notice of these requests in order to prepare special one off meals.
The restaurant is fully licensed to midnight and the bar is stocked with a range of Australian and overseas wines which compliment the menu as well as a selection of both local and imported beers.
